Laser Grading

Laser Grading sports fields is necessary to laterally shed surface water from the field and other critical areas while also leveling the field to its surroundings to provide smooth transitions from different surfaces.

Fraze Mowing

Fraze Mowing leaves a smoother, firmer, and healthier plant. It works well when your looking to provide a better playing surface by incorporating aerification and a light topdressing afterward on fields that have good grass coverage.

Drainage

One of the most common complaints we hear from clients on their existing sports fields is surface water. We use passive capillary drainage on all of our sports fields and courses for superior results, minimal disruption, and cost effectiveness.

Topdressing

Often one of the most overlooked yet important ways to take care of your field. If your field has minor variations or depressions you need to get a Topdressing. This helps to amend physical soil properties, create a better growing environment for the turf and reduce thatch.

Aeration

Grass needs water and air in order to grow. When soil is compacted, water and air do not get to the grass. Aeration involves poking holes in the soil so that water and air can better circulate and stimulate growth. All grass needs water and air to grow and it won’t if it’s compacted.

In 2017 the City of Chamblee hired Field and Fairway Unlimited to strip turf and till, laser grade, and install new sod on over 105,000 square feet of field space at Dresden Park. Throughout this process, Lanier Dudley and his crew were wonderful to work with, communicating with staff every step of the way and ensuring we were happy with the results.
